Access keys
Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key.
All pages on this site define the following access keys:
- Access Key 0 - Skip over navigation menu and jump straight to the content on the current page

Links
- Where appropriate, extra information about links is provided in the title attribute of the link tag.
- Links are arranged in a logical tab order.
- Link text is written throughout the site so that it makes sense of out context.
- The site is cross referenced with internal link text and uses the title attribute to identify the section name and page being linked to (For example: Community Projects we offer)
Images
- All non-background images used on the site have descriptive alt attributes.
- The website is readable with images disabled.
Visual Design
- Each section of the website has its own colour scheme, allowing the user to quickly identify which section of the web site they're currently in.
- A single table has been used for the main 'drop-down' navigation; all of the links on this menu are available in the individual sections under 'IN THIS SECTION'.
- The site uses relative font sizes, therefore text size can be changed in any browser. To change the text size in your browser, go to: View > Text Size.
- The site is readable if style-sheets (CSS) and/or images are disabled.
Forms
- All form elements have a corresponding label tag to associate the text description with the field
Standards Compliance
- The site has been built with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in mind.
- All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
